| Drafting and prosecuting patent applications and utility models, defending and attacking patents in opposition and nullity proceedings before the GPTO, the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Court of Justice as well as the EPO and the Boards of Appeal of the EPO, providing infringement and validity opinions and participating in patent litigation before the respective Civil Courts in Germany. Technical fields of interest: telecommunications, signal processing, computer software, IC-design and electronics, medical devices, and mechanical engineering. Dirk further counsels clients in the fields of trademarks, designs and valuation of IP rights, including portfolio management and IP due diligence. | |
